Project 1: selfie collage + Layer Panel + descriptions

 Layer 1= (tutorial 5) I pretty much left layer 1 as is, as it was the one with a background and we didn't need to crop or mask it at all so we left it at the bottom.

Layer 2= (tutorial 2) Since I wanted to leave the text in, I put this above layer one but it would be behind everything else as it wouldn't be too much. I just masked the image and painted over it a bit to get rid of what I wanted in the mask.

Layer 3= (tutorial 3) For this layer, I masked everything but myself to get rid of the needless background and my friend. I put it on the left so I could have a somewhat equal distribution of pictures between each other.

Layer 4= (tutorial 4) I manually masked these images as I wanted the gifts in my hand to stay, so I used the lasso tool and painted a bit over to mask it and then put myself off to the right.

Layer 5= (tutorial 1) I used the AI background remover to help me mask as I wanted my friends to stay in the photo, and then put it as the top image so it overlapped everything else.

It was easy to put in all the photos, however it was harder to mask the images so they all overlap correctly with each other. I think I did a pretty good job for masking, however I could tweak some of the little imperfections with the healing tool and manually masking some images.
